Garbage In, Garbage Out. Long ago, in the time of old mainframe computers that filled whole buildings, programmers coined the term 'Garbage in, Garbage out' to describe the result from a program if poor or incorrect data was input. The same phrase equally applies to artwork and printing. Poor artwork will result in a poor print result, BUT high quality artwork optimised for the printing process will give a high quality result and help speed the production process.
