What they then got were “burnt” DVD recordables, unprinted.
These indeed had a lower price. But were they “cheaper”?
Their entire practice now looked cheap. The first
impression they gave was pretty poor. The 'budget' quality
recordable media meant that the DVDs did not work with all
the players out there. And to get them shipped they had to
have five thousand sticky labels printed which someone in
the office had to stick on before packing and posting the
DVDs out.
Quite probably someone got complimented on their clever
purchasing because the invoice came in with a lower price
on it!
Having spent years attempting to build a quality reputation
they were prepared to blow-it in pursuit of two-pence-ha’penny
worth of apparent “saving”.
